US-China Relations Student Summit


MISSION
To bring together students from the United States and China to learn about global issues
facing both countries and working together to come up with solutions to these problems.

GOALS
1. Explore global citizenship and leadership.
2. Learn about historical relationship between China and the United States.
3. Understand the Sino-American relationship through dialogue and problem solving.
4. Examine current issues facing China and the United States as defined by the UN.
5. Engage in productive dialogue and problem-solving sessions

TOPICS
1. Climate change
2. Health
3. Weapons proliferation
4. Disasters


DATE
August 1-5, 9am-3pm

HOST SCHOOL
La Salle High School
3880 East Sierra Madre Blvd, Sierra Madre, CA

COST
$350
*free to American students that host a Chinese student
**elective credit available to La Salle students
